Early, Middle & Late Flowering Clematis Collection & All 3 Clematis Climbing Plants Suited to Growing in ABSOLUTELY ANY SPOT in Your Garden!

Key Information:  Product Code: EML1

Name: Early, Middle & Late Flowering Clematis Collection & All 3 Clematis Climbing Plants Suited to Growing in ABSOLUTELY ANY SPOT in Your Garden!

Description: This Collection of Early, Middle & Late Flowering Clematis Climbing Plants consists of:- 1 X Clematis 'Mile-A-Minute Elizabeth', 1 X Clematis 'Guernsey Cream' and 1 X Clematis 'Venosa Violacea'. The added bonus of this Collection is not only that you have beautiful climbing plants flowering from early Spring right through until late Autumn you can also plant them in your garden in ANY POSITION, even NORTH facing! 'Elizabeth' with its scented delicately coloured pale pink flowers, and pale yellow stamens, is great for covering sheds, pergolas, walls and for growing up trees for added enjoyment - throughout May, June and July this Clematis just looks sensational. The scented pink flowers are paler in the middle and towards the base. The scent can range from vanilla to hot chocolate. Clematis 'Elizabeth' has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Clematis 'Elizabeth' is fully hardy and will even grow on a NORTH FACING wall. The leaves are an attractive dark green shade and dense hence its nick name 'the mile a minute clematis'. No pruning is required for this particular variety unless you wish to restrict the spread. The second plant in this showy collection is the award winning Clematis 'Guernsey Cream', and is my favourite because it normally flowers twice! The first flush of blooms in May and June, with the added bonus of a second flush of blooms on the maturing new vine growth later in the summer. I have my 'Guernsey Cream' planted in quite a shady spot in my garden where it only gets an hour or two of early morning sun and it has just thrived. Whilst being fairly compact it is normally just smothered in Golden Guernsey Cream blooms which are some 6'' in diameter - not surprizing it has won the coveted AGM (Award of Garden Merit) from the Royal Horticultural Society. Perfect too for a Patio Pot. Clematis viticella 'Venosa Violacea' is a gorgeous, flowering vine that is both vigorous and easy to grow and is the third plant in this NEW collection. Clematis viticella 'Venosa Violacea' has superb disease resistance, and also produces beautiful flowers in great profusion for a long duration from early summer right through until late autumn. Clematis viticella 'Venosa Violacea' means "violet veins", and when you look closely at the exquisite flowers on this exceptional variety, you can see how it got its name. Richly veined velvet-purple blooms with dark violet veining reaching all the way out to the edges of the blossoms. Clematis 'Venosa Violacea' will grow in many positions - full sun to dull shade and is marvelous growing on archways, arbours, trellises, or fences, growing to a height of about 8 feet. This NEW collection of 3 Clematis is a real treat for you and these very hardy plants will provide you with colour from early to late in the gardening year.
