Key Information:  Product Code: BULBCOLLECTION1

Name: Bulb Collection 1 - Narcissus 'Thalia' x12, Muscari (Grape Hyacinth)x20, Tulip 'Red Riding Hood' x12 * Commercial size bulbs NOT small pre-packs*

Description: Our new bulb collection consist of 3 sets of exciting spring flowering bulbs. That will brighten any border, patio container or rockery. This collection includes: Narcissus 'Thalia' - Scented Minature White Daffodil. We love white narcissi! More delicate and airy than yellow trumpets, these will provide you with pleasing Spring colour and grace. Ideal for adding a splash of colour in sun or in dappled shade. Like all daffodils, they are easy to grow.'Thalia' has the added advantage of being scented and providing multi-headed flowers with two to four white flowers clustered on a single stem. Excellent for naturalising. Muscari (Grape Hyacinth) - Deep cobalt blue. These beautiful blue spring flowering bulbs are often taken for granted. I can't get enough blue to contrast with the yellow daffodils at this time of the gardening year. The clumps of blue flowers seem to last for many weeks and provide a welcome addition to many planting schemes. They are hardy, reliable and perfect for either naturalising or formal planting. Will grow in any well-drained soil and can be lifted and divided every three years or so. Tulip 'Red Riding Hood' - Dwarf growing. 'Red Riding Hood' is one of the best compact growing Greigii Tulips. Developed from the Tulipa greigii species, which is native to Turkestan. It is short as tulips go growing only 15cm (6 inches) tall, but the blooms are very large in proportion. The flowers open wide in full sun, creating cup-shaped blooms that can be more than 12cm (5 inches) in diameter when fully open. Because they are short 'Red Riding Hood' are ideal for rockeries and patio containers. It has the added attraction in that the leaves are patterned with purple stripes. They naturalise very well (i.e. if you leave them alone, they come back year after year, and even multiply). The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM). Hardy perennial bulbs will reward you year on year. THESE ARE BEST COMMERCIAL BULBS WHICH PROVIDE MULTI-BLOOMS FROM THE FIRST SEASON ONWARDS ***AVAILABLE FROM EARLY SEPTEMBER EACH YEAR***
