Key Information:  Product Code: HARRASPBERRYX5

Name: 5 X Harmony New Guinea Impatiens Raspberry Cream Plug Plants (Impatiens x hawkeri)*Ready Now*

Description: Harmony New Guinea Impatiens will have slightly smaller flowers than standard New Guineas , but the plant itself is very well branched, resulting in more blooms. Harmonies are very floriferous, so their tops will get better colour coverage than those of a standard New Guinea This may seem like a nuisance detail, but it’s one you can see for yourself: For landscapers—a group of Harmonies will present more colour as you walk toward it and in hanging baskets and patio containers the branching is more evident. How to grow on: Plugs should be planted into a good quality peat or John Innes based compost. We do not reccomend growing in grow bags, peat free or homemade compost as too many nutrient problems can occur. Keep the compost fairly moist, but not waterlogged. If you notice a yellowing of the leaves during the early growing stages this is probably due to the plants being too wet. Try to avoid keeping the foliage wet for prolonged periods to prevent Botrytis and Mildew diseases and do not allow plants to be wet overnight We recommend poting into 9cm pots or packs on arrival and planting into baskets and tubs when the roots have filled the pots. Plants should be grown in a well lit and well ventilated environment. Strict hygiene and ventilation should be observed to avoid disease problems. Light feeding should begin 3 weeks after planting. After 4 weeks plants should be budded up and ready for potting on into borders pots or baskets for you to enjoy. When the baskets or planters are established increase the feeding - we use tomorite, normal diluted strength on a weekly basis. New Guinea Impatiens will grow happily in a greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory and prefer to be grown warm, well ventilated and with good levels of light to establish a compact habit but should be protected from frost. You will receive a pack of 5 Premium Quality Professionally Produced Young Plug Plants. All orders are carefully packed and shipped in our specially designed packaging.
